I love South Africa! Having the good fortune of living on the South Coast of Kwazulu Natal affords me the pleasure of viewing the wonder of the gorgeous sea and beaches every day, even if briefly out of my car window on my way to the shop. But last weekend Alan and I took a trip up to the Southern Drakensburg for a couple of days and what an equally beautiful place it is. We stayed at the Drakensburg Gardens Golf and Spa Resort and the view from our hotel room balcony was spectacular.

This is a truly stunning place and I intend planning more escapes to this part of the world. Thanks Rob for your true home grown hospitality. Next time I intend taking my children, Carrie and Alfie along, because it’s very kiddie friendly with children riding around on their bikes and playing Adventure golf. What a gem of a place!

Proudly South African!

With myself feeling all patriotic, I thought I’d give a little mention about the truly proudly South African products that I stock in my shop, other than the furniture which is made in our very own factory of course.

Charlotte Rhys is a range of bath, body and home products that is manufactured in the Cape and is made from natural ingredients.
